City Guide: Paris
Aux Deux Amis
A fantastic spot with a Spanish accent for tapas and quality wines at a quality price.
Rub shoulders with up-and-coming French actors in the unlikely setting of this former dive bar that looks more like a rundown “local” than the great local hangout it is. The Spanish accented menu focuses on tapas with perfect sharing platters of cheese and mixed charcuteries, champagne, cocktails and biodynamic farm-to-glass wines. The menu scrawled on the mirror, and not on a card, but easy enough for a well-versed foodie to follow along. The one word you need to recognize above all: jambon.
