Ahhh, Italy. The country with miles of coastline and rich with vineyards, olive groves, and in central Italy: truffles. WHAT TO EXPECT:
For 8 days / 7 nights (roughly 23 meals plus all those in-between bites) you will eat, drink, and explore your way from the Adriatic to the Ligurian Sea. While crossing all of that territory, you’ll cruise on your bike through the pastures of the Sibillini mountains, take in the panoramic views, travel the open roads to the tiny hilltowns of Panicale and Montepulciano, sample classic Bistecca Alla Fiorentina, sip more than your share of the local wines like Barolos and Super Tuscans, cook with truffles sourced from your own hunt and end your days with a swim and a feast. All with one of New York’s top chefs, Seamus Mullen, by your side.

As this tour has some steep inclines, it’s graded at Level 4 which means, this is not the trip for newbies. An intermediate level biker will find this challenging, so spend your summer training so you can rise to that challenge. Remember, the more you bike the more you can burn what you eat.
Daily mileage on the bike ranges from 29 to 58, which is broken up with stops for culinary sights and meals throughout the day. There is a support van along the route as well as guides which will always be nearby to provide food, water, bike maintenance and tips.
MEALS:
